Spending a lot of time in the contrast of soft countryside and the harder edge of industry James Willis current series of work is the process of creating something beautiful out of pre-worn industrial materials.
He reclaims the old fabricating tops and then works with charcoal and various tools on the burnt and used mdf, having finished a piece it is then framed to reflect that industrial edge.
